About the Charity
The Fareshare charity are a food distribution charity. They delivered 16,992 tonnes of food, which would have otherwise gone to waste, to good causes ranging from homeless hostels to community cafés. There are 21 regions in which they operate, the nearest of them here in Preston. From these 21 regions they redistribute to both local and national causes, supporting large areas of the UK. This worthy cause provides 772,390 people a week with food.
Our Donation
We pride ourselves on giving to charities where possible. From our Pink Day for Breast Cancer Research to this food donation, we love getting involved. A variety of useful food and non-food items, ranging from staples like rice and pasta to household products such as nappies and toothpaste, were gathered. All together we managed to donate five boxes to the charity. We would like to thank all our staff for their kind donations and the charity for making donations like this possible.
